Club History

The first Diamonds Women’s team was formed and operated under the BAT Committee at the time, marking the beginning of the Diamonds presence in local baseball and laying the foundation for future club growth.

Diamonds expanded to two women’s teams, reflecting growing participation and continued development within the club.

Diamonds B Grade Women’s team won the premiership, becoming the first women’s team to win a premiership in BAT history — a historic milestone for both the club and women’s baseball in the region.

Diamonds became an incorporated club, standing independently for the first time. This marked a major step forward, with the introduction of mixed teams and the establishment of a full committee dedicated to building and growing Diamonds Baseball Club into the future.
